question about taft application

Okay, so I'm applying for Taft, and I'm very confused about one of its questions.
Taft asks about my experience in a series of activities such as sports, extracurriculars, drama, art, and music, and also READING.

What does it mean by reading? Favorite books?
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was being rude nvm.

it's just one of my many school choices...
So do you think you know anything about what reading could mean?

Yeah that is what it means.

so... do I just say
"Yeah, I know how to read"?.....
Or is there some kind of special reading they have in mind?
Either way, I'm really confused...

Talk about that great book you read last week that inspired you to research the evolution of monkeys and apes and write a short story on a fictional ape called Stooby.

This is what they mean by that...just write about some unique or creative experience if you have one.

And please, whatever you do, don't write (as my friend did) Harry Potter.

oh, I listed all the books I had read recently and their authors.
