I still have 2 quarters of Math left and am planning to take 1 this fall and another one this winter

My question is that will I be able to tag this year for fall 2011 if I get my calc done by winter or spring 2011?

Will you have you taken any IGETC math class by the end of Fall? That’s college algebra or higher, with some exceptions (Statistics satisfies the requirement, trig doesn’t).

If you have, you’re okay to TAG to most UCs (I think Irvine requires math by the end of summer).

@nick_scheu: Sometimes Trig CAN count as a transferable math class. For example at my CCC Trig and Pre-Calc are taken together as one class. In this case it DOES satisfy the requirement.

@Bea5T9: Call your counseling office at your CCC and simply ask: “Have I taken a UC transferable math class yet?” If the answer is yes, then you are all set.

You could also look at assist.org or your CCC’s IGETC to figure this out.

All the best
