I wast able to get into my classes at De Anza for winter quarter and was wondering If I am able to take these same classes at foothill without invalidating my TAG. I got accepted to Davis and Santa Cruz and told them I will be taking math 1b and 1c for winter and spring at De Anza. I wasnt able to get into the 1B class that fits my schedule at De Anza though

as long as they’re compatible courses then you should be fine.

I think you’d have to call them since they approved your TAG with you saying that you would be at De Anza. Even if they are sister schools, they’re still 2 separate schools.

Well on the UC Davis Tag update page it says

"*Coursework Updates - Please use the UC application for undergraduate admission and scholarships and/or the UC Application Update form to report any changes to the in progress/planned courses or schools you reported on your UC Davis TAG. Use the UC Application Update form to provide us with your fall and winter intersession grades. Please do not report course changes, school changes or fall grades. "

So Should I not put it on the UC app since it says “Do not report school changes”

yes, just update your spring course with the new school and your courses. To satisfy the TAG, you just need to fulfill the courses, it does not necessarily say they have to be taken at that very school. It merely approved those courses at that school, so just make sure that the courses are exactly the same at the school.

Sorry but what do you mean by “update your spring courses”?

are you talking about the application? or do the UC’s allow you to update them next spring

Oh sorry I thought you already sent in your application. In January you will be allowed to update your application with your fall grades and your spring schedule.

oh ok thank you

anyone know what the earliest date for registering for classes this winter quarter at foothill is?

mines at the 28th at 3 pm

go to the foothill site, obvs.
but i think its the 29th

well everyone has a different date based on their units, and I was just wondering what everyones date was to gauge my chance of getting into my class
