Question about taking SAT II subject test before SAT I

<p>Hey everybody, greetings from a little country called New Zealand</p>

<p>I'm in quite a unique position right now: I've registered to take the SAT I
reasoning test on Jan 23 2010 and I've considered taking SAT II Subject test
for Latin. This is a subject few people take hence it is offered only in December
and May. I've had a strong interest in the subject and have done 4 years at high school already and I'm confident about taking it December 2009. I'm graduating December 2010. (calender different compared to US school calender). Here is my question: </p>

<p>Is it possible to take the SAT II before taking the SAT I reasoning test for the first time?</p>

<p>yeah it’s possible.
i did it. I took my SAT II’s in january 09.
I’m taking my SAT I in October 09.</p>
