One of my teachers is filling out a paper copy of the teacher form, and I would like to know more about how it would be processed since the instructions online doesn't explain it.

.....who cares? all you have to worry about is sending it in.

Actually, what I want to ask is if there is a way I can view online whether or not Columbia has received the recommendations and teacher reports if I send in paper copies of them.

Also, do I have to fill out the names and contact information of those teachers in the recommendation provider list in the online app even if I am sending the information by paper?

Any help from past or current applicants would be appreciated

A related question: is it OK if one of my teachers does the recommendation online and the other one does it on paper?

yes, there is a form tracking website.....also, (not sure if this is true for the undergrad online application too, but it was for the grad application) on the online app you had to fill in the info of those who are sending in a paper rec and indicate they were sending it in by paper and the online app would tell you when it was received. I guess you might get better info from a current student....i'm old :(
