However, it is essential to have one from an English teacher, no matter if you are an international student or one from the US, because the English teacher will be able to make testament to your reasoning and analytical skills which will be very important in college. Also, if you are applying to SEAS, you need one from your math teacher. Otherwise, you can have any teacher write your second rec.</p>
