Quick question: I understand that Tufts requires either SAT 1's and SAT 2's or the ACT with writing, but will I have to submit my SAT regardless if I choose the ACT option? I am questioning this because the website says that you must report all scores from all sittings of the SAT, and I am not sure if this only relates to the SAT option or the ACT option as well. I know that others schools with similar requirements, such as Penn, require the SAT's (if already taken) to be submitted as supplemental information even if the ACT option is chosen. Is this so for Tufts? (I did, however, see acceptances on CC of students who just chose to submit the ACT and not the SAT, even if they took it; therefore, I am leaning more towards the idea that I can submit my ACT without submitting my SAT's.) Thanks.

You can submit act without submitting the sat scores. But I think you might still need sat 2. I would calll admission and verify.

D1 (now a Tufts sophomore) submitted just her ACT, no SAT scores. She was a NMF, so it was obvious that she must have taken the SAT.

You don’t need to submit ANY sat testing if you’ve got the ACT to send to us.
