Question about the application.

I have a few questions about employment and ec on the applications (school + common). Well, for one, I kinda lack (quite a bit) in the ec field, so I'm a bit desperate lol. I've taken some college classes at a local community college is it all right to list that under ecs? Also when doing the school application when the school asks if I've ever taken courses at college should I list those? Do internships (non-paid) count as well?

And also about employment. I've done quite a number of hours at my uncle's friend's convenient store over the summers of 06/07...while I do get paid, it's kind of an under-the-table kinda job. Should I list that under employment?

One more thing, this is kinda an "unethical" and iffy lol. Theoretically (not saying I will ;)) list some clubs that I haven't joined under ecs, would the colleges actually check to see if I've joined them? Because I don't see how they would check...I mean it's ran by students so what are they going to do like call them or something?

Ok that's it for now, thanks!

If you have taken courses at a community college you should list them under courses you've taken at a college. Internships count as extracurricular, since it's something you do outside of school. Getting paid for working at a store counts as work. If you don't plan to join a club in senior year, don't say that you plan on joining.

^ I'm not really into clubs and stuff (not that I'm antisocial), but is it all right if I join like 2 clubs and go check it out like 2-3 times throughout the year and thats it? Will I still get "credit" for joining that club and would I be able to put it on my transcript?

Like what my final question is: will colleges strictly look into what you put down and get confirmation that you actually did it for so and so hours?
