well I took it in June of '09. I don't really remember what I got but I know it wasn't good. I never canceled the scores so does this mean it will be put on my transcript and sent to college?

bump…3 months later

if i don’t want to send them even though I didn’t cancel them after I took them, i don’t have to…right?

If your colleges let you use Score Choice, you do not have to send the bio. However, some schools (like Yale or Georgetown) are going to require that you send all of your scores. Check the school’s website and it should tell you what is allowed.

So if I happen to be sick the day of the test and thus do badly, there’s no way I can withhold that test score from a college that doesn’t allow this “score choice”?

That’s honestly pretty crazy…I had great schools in mind and my chances just significantly decreased from a test I took in ninth grade?

Same here, only I took world history.

You can lie and not follow their policy, but that is unethical, and you’d probably get paranoid at them finding out…

I took it under the impression that I could choose what I send (counselors, friends said that). Figured out one year later that some schools, which turns out to be a lot of schools, want all scores

chaldo - yes, you have to send it in. But I think the admissions office would see that you took it as a freshman and wouldn’t judge too harshly. If you’re really worried about it, maybe you could retake the bio for a higher score?
