Question about the Common App Essay

<p>I know there’s a thread relating to this but I haven’t gotten any conclusive responses when posting in it. I was just wondering:</p>

<li><p>Should I still place my name, birth date, and school at the top of each page of my essay if I’m submitting it online?</p></li>
<li><p>Should my essay be double-spaced? What about font? Does it have to be Times New Roman?</p></li>
<li><p>If I chose a topic of choice, do you recommend that I create my own question and place it at the top of my paper?</p></li>

<li>I used that font, single spaced, with a line space between paragraphs. (It seemed easier to read that way.)</li>
