My high school transcript does not denote if a course was taken at standard level or the college predatory level. It only denotes honors. For classes taken at a non honors level then, what should I put?
Example:
Algebra 2 Honors
Biology <=== Transcript does not denote this as lower level. It just doesn’t have any distinction.
If a course is not indicated on your transcript as honors/ap/advanced/etc/etc/(or any of the other options in the drop down menu) you can just list it as “standard.”
All of your coursework entries should match the information provided on your transcript.
@hailtopitt1787 Thank you for your help! One more question: If my transcript lists a course as, for example, Biology H, should I manually input it it as Biology H or only make the honors distinction in the drop down menu?
@hailtopitt1787 I lied about the “one more question” thing, but I think that this is might be my last one!
My transcript does not include middle school grades or courses. The Application says to only report middle school courses taken at the high school level such as Spanish 1 or Algebra 1. If I took both Spanish 1 and Algebra 1 in middle school but the courses are not reported on my transcript, should I still report them on the SRAR or just leave the middle school section empty?
@jake990, I am not entirely sure about that one, to be honest. For questions like that, that are more specific to your unique application, please contact our office. Our Admissions Processors will be happy to assist: 412-624-7488 or oafa@pitt.edu.
