Question about the Hail to Pitt Application

Hi! I am applying to University of Pittsburgh and have a quick question. The application asked me "Have you taken the ACT?" Then they just had two boxes marked "Yes" and "No." In my case, my honest answer to this question is "Yes," but I do not wish to submit my ACT score since I got a higher SAT score. Should I lie and say that I did not take the ACT or should I be honest and say I did? In either case, if I already have sent my SAT score, do I have to also send my ACT score since I have taken it?

Just say No!

Wow, why would you consider lying on your college application? They will take the highest scores from the tests. I don’t think it will look bad.

You could ask admissions directly if you have to send ACT score. But maybe they will only need the SAT.
But answers on application should be answered honestly.
