<p>Hi all,
I have not been admitted to any UC campus as an Honor’s student (CHP). But, let’s say I want to take some of the Honor’s classes (Bio, Lit and Math perhaps), would I be able to test into those classes or apply for them? Also, what is the advantage of taking Honor’s classes in college, do the classes get weighted into your GPA as they do in High School? </p>

<p>At UCD the honors program, DHC is applied to after you are admitted. It is by application. Anyone can apply and make a case about why they want to be in honors.</p>
<p>Thanks. So would it be possible to not be in the honor's program in your freshman year and then apply after second quarter (say if you have a 3.5 or above for first quarter) or would you have to wait until your sophomore year to re-apply? My question refers to UCI.</p>
