I was contacted for an interview today, and I’m just wondering, do interviewers tell you whether or not you’ll most likely get in? When my sister had an interview (not for Brown), she was told that she didn’t stand a chance at RD admission. I’m terrified something like this will happen to me, any admitted students or interviewers want to share experiences? Thanks!

I’m pretty sure fireandrain mentioned that interviewers get very little information about you, so they’d be hard-pressed to give you the likelihood. Even if they were to (and most certainly wouldn’t say, since it’s not their place, imo), they’re not adcoms; it’s what the adcoms decide that matters.

Right on. I guess my sister just had a very angry one, haha. Thanks!

Some interviewers, like some people, are not very professional or humane and say things they shouldn’t.
