<p>I’m pretty sure someone who does well on a more advanced test will also do well on a less advanced test.</p>
<p>However, Math I curve is more harsh than Math II, so some Math II takers may not do as well. Also, most people usually take one or the other, not both.</p>
<p>Anyone who takes the math 2 and scores high would be well-advised to never take the math 1 thereafter. You have colleges that require all scores. Also, colleges that require two subject tests want them in different subjects and taking both maths would count as only one. Thus, there is no reason to take the math 1 and risk scoring lower and having to send the score to colleges.</p>
