Question about the schedule of classes

To get ready for my SOAR I've been looking at the schedule of classes, and ran across something I don't quite understand. For Math 122 Calculus 1, each class is called a "section," which consists of sessions called SEM and ACT (I assume these mean seminar and activity?). For example, one of them has a SEM Tue-Thu 9:30-10:45am, and two ACT listed -- one of them at Wed 8-9:50am, and the other one Wed 10-11:50am.

My question is this: To take this class, do I sign up for the SEM and one of the two ACT sessions?

I think when they give you a list of times that you can choose for the SEM and ACT, if it says (required) next to it you gotta take it. So yes, you have to take one of each sem and act

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I don’t need to take both of the act’s listed for the given section.

haha you cant click more than one bubble anyways

in my experience it has automatically notified my to sign up for the paired class. if the class had a lab it would tell me. but in your case it looks like you have some options for combining the two
