Is it not advisable to write about the open curriculum for the why brown essay? I’m asking because a friend who edited my essay commented that most people probably write about this, and the admission officers are probably sick of reading about this. Is she correct?

Is that why you want to go to Brown?

Answer the question. If you want Brown because you want the freedom of the Open Curriculum and the opportunity to design your own education, or something to that effect, then there’s really nothing else you could write about. If there is something else, then write about that.
