If you need humanities SAT2s, the English Lit one has the advantage of requiring fine reading and vocabulary–but NOT any specific readings, as all the readings are part of the test.

D took several SAT II’s after (or close to time) AP exams. That way she did not have to prep for them. For planning purposes, the hardest AP Class /AP exam/SAT II by far is AP US History. I am not sure why she even took Hist. SAT II as she is pre-med, AP exam was very useful though as she did not need to take any humanities at college (thanks goodness, they are not easy for her).

ot: Thanks IloveLA for that link. Never heard of the program before.

kdMom and Marian, Thanks for the correction. Maybe Kiddo will put Cornell back on her list. :)

I swear, when we visited campus this past June and attended the Info Session, the Admissions counsellor specifically said 3 SAT IIs were required (I wrote it down and I know I’d read that somewhere)–even with the ACT with Writing. But going back to check the brochure, I see, too, that it only says 2 SAT IIs.

Thanks! and sorry for posting mis-information.

Thanks all for your help!
Will read this through again and save for future reference.
