Question about too many units

So I want to apply for transferring to a UC this coming Fall 2008
But by the end of Spring I'm going to most likely exceed 90 total semester units
Does this mean I'm basically screwed?
I've only been in Community College for 3 semesters
Summer 07, Fall 07, Spring 08, and this Current Summer 08

Will continue through Fall 08, and Spring 09

Few Questions I have
Should i apply for Winter Quarter @ UC?
Need more info on that if anyone has anything

And thats it, I'm basically lost because I'm in fear of exceeding 90 units and most UC's don't accept over 90 units right

Going to see counselor this week, but thought I'd post here first
Thanks!

Usually when a school will only accept however many credits they just won't transfer over that many, not keep you out of the university altogether. I know some won't let you transfer at all though, but that is not the case for most, and I would assume it is not for the UC's. A few of the schools I am applying to won't let me transfer more than 60 credit hours, and I have like 71, but it isn't a big deal since I will only lose like 3 classes worth.

UCLA only admits transfer students from 4-year institutions who are at the junior level (minimum 60/90 semester/quarter units; maximum 86/129 semester/quarter units). We do not allow students to disregard any transferable coursework.

If you could clarify that
Thanks!

I'm planning to transfer to UCI, will they just not admit it overall?
