Hi, so I've looked at several other threads and it seems that most admission questions or comments are about freshman admissions. Anyways, here's my situation. I had been admitted to CLA as a transfer for Spring 2010, only some things came up and I was unable to attend. Now instead of doing the smart thing and contacting them about this, I just never confirmed my admission and it was revoked. Now that I am able to attend I wanted to reapply which I did on March 10th (Unfortunately, 10 days after priority deadline, I had applied well before the deadline last time)

Anyways, I talked to a counselor a few days ago and was basically told to send them a small statement on why I wanted to attend and complete this major (Economics, if that matters) since I had changed my mind quite a bit (The first time I applied it was for Sociology) So after doing this and checking the application tracker, it now says "Your application is being carefully considered". At first I was pretty optimistic about this but after looking here, quite a few people were either rejected or waitlisted shortly after.

So I'm pretty sure that nobody can really answer these questions but I thought I'd give it a shot anyways because the stress is killing me. I'm just wondering if having been admitted prior to this helps my chances at all. If it helps, my college GPA is a very average 3.0, but I've got my liberal arts completed and I'll have most of the prerequisites for the econ major done by this fall. Thanks in advance for any possible help or comments.
