I wasn’t planning on receiving any decisions from the schools I’ve applied to until mid-May, but one of the schools sent me an acceptance this past weekend. In the letter, it says my deposit is due within two weeks of my decision notification. Although this school is my fourth choice, I think I would be happy there next year and I refuse to stay at my current university. My issue is that I won’t hear back from any other schools for two more months, and by then my housing applications and other enrollment forms will be due at the other school. How am I supposed to handle this situation? Although the chances of me getting into the other three schools are slim, I don’t want to get too far into the enrollment process and then have to back out.
