Question about transferring from a satellite campus

Say you are attending a satellite campus of a university like Penn State and you want to transfer to another school. Does attending a satellite campus hurt your chances of getting in to the school you are attempting to transfer to?

Right now I am weighing my options. I know my GPA would be stronger if I attend a PSU satellite campus.

bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp?

If no one has responded, that probably means we have no idea and don't want to drive you in the wrong direction. My advice would be to call the university you desire to transfer to and speak to someone on admissions, they should give you the best answer.

All I know is that unlike some other states, Penn State's main campus is really the only one of real quality. The satellite campuses of Penn State are all significantly worse than University Park, which is really quite good. I don't know how it will affect your transfer chances, but I'd assume that going to a good state school will look better than going to an easier school. Schools you're transferring to really like to see that you've made an effort at your current school.

what;s satelite campus? Is that like in outer space? Do you take the space ship or a rocket to school?

Sorry for my lousy sense of humor.
