Question about transferring in GTown from GW

Alright, I don't know how serious I am about tranferring to GT because I like GWU; this is really hypothetical.

Freshman at GWU

17 credits from AP credit and other colleges

16 credits from first semester and another 15 next

Chem major and I am a pre-med

My college GPA should be in the 3.6-3.7 range. So far, I have an A in Calculus II, A in Gen Chem, a probable A in microeconomics, and B-B+ in Russian and East European affairs as well as philosophy.

My ECs in college aren't fantastic. I am a member of GW Republicans. I think the most attractive thing I offer in terms of college ECs is that next semester I am working two 4-hour shifts at GW emergency room for a intro. to clinical research class.

My highschool stats are ok but not good enough to get in as a high schooler.

3.75 unweighted
15/190 rank
680/690/700 on SAT
Founder of a Soldier Support Club as well as president of the International Culture Club

I assume my chances are low, but I just wanted to hear your opinions.

Also next semester I am taking…

General Chemistry II
Multivariable Calculus
Intro. to Clinical Research
Mandated GW writing class

^I would say that little higher SAT scores would place you in a much better situation. Although in transfer admissions standardized test scores matter less, for sophomore standing I think they are still important. You can try to take their attention on something else through essays and definitely a prof. recommendation. Even as it is now, I think it is still possible for you to get in.

I want to transfer to SFS Georgetown, I will appreciate your feedback too:http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/georgetown-university/830896-chance-me-sfs-please.html
