<p>My two dream schools are the University of Minnesota and UIUC. If I get into either one of them, I'm going there and if I don't get into either, I plan on transferring into either one. Now I know that transferring may be an idea that is gone from my mind as I may have the best roommate and love the college I'm at, but let's just say I want to transfer anyway...</p>
<p>Here's my question:</p>
<p>Is it easier (easier to be accepted) to transfer from another campus at the same university than it is to transfer from university to university?</p>
<p>For example, would it be easier for me to transfer into UIUC if I went to UIC for a year, rather than transferring into UIUC if I went to a completely different university, say Minnesota, for a year. By easier, I mean getting accepted as a transfer applicant, not the idea of moving all of your stuff. </p>
