Question about transferring to Stanford

I am currently a Sophomore at a Community College, but I am unsure of what Stanford is looking for as in its articulation agreement, or what classes do they accept and how many units? Are they the tradition 60 units or less? Plz help and I know that Stanford is difficult and wont be the only school I will be applying to but I just want to give it a chance.

Stanford doesn’t have defined articulation agreements with any community college. Stanford requires that the transfer student completes two years of work there, but that doesn’t mean if you have more than 60 credits when you transfer, that you are automatically ineligible - especially if you want to transfer into a unique Stanford program (say, Hum Bio).

You can find the info here: [Eligibility & Credit Transfer : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/application/transfer/credit.html)

The vague nature of the page helps pull in more applicants that are unsure of their standing, I think.

okay so if I reach the two years and obtain 60 units or less it doesnt mean im ineligible? i suppose that they mainly accept the traditional classes such as political science and so forth?

thanks, ill definitely look into that.
