question about transferring

I was wondering what the recommended gpa needed to transfer to these following schools:
1. university of north carolina-chapel hill
2. sarah lawrence college
3. virginia commonwealth university
4. whitman college
5. wake forest university

i come from a community college in hawai'i and i was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good liberal arts college. although, i don't necessarily have a very good gpa (around 3.0-3.3) i'd like to know what my chances are. i'd like to major in history. my first choice would be sarah lawrence but i don't know ifit's good enough. thanks.

VCU is pretty slack.

I'd say a 3.0 would get anyone in.

I'd agree with sellout about VCU. Its really slack for first years, so I don't see any reason why the same wouldn't be true about transfers. I'd say for UNC and Wake Forest your GPA would have to be pretty high. Since you're a history major, if you got into UNC you should go, because it has one of the nation's best history departments. Good luck!
