<p>From what I understand, you apply to UCs in November and then do a follow up in January for Fall grades/classes, right? After the update, then they determine if you are qualified to attend, correct? Can someone share some light on the subject?</p>
<p>That sounds about right. Your spring grades will not be factored into admission (since you will get your admission letters before spring semester even ends), only your fall grades and your spring schedule. After you are admitted you will need to submit official transcripts that include your spring grades, and inform the school if you plan on taking any summer courses.</p>
