I asked my counselor if she would help me calculate my UC GPA. She said that it is the same as my 10th-12th grade academic GPA (Which doesn’t include PE). I take that to mean that our school uses the a-g UC courses as a guideline. Does this sound right? I could post all my grades if need be. btw, my 10-12 academic GPA is 4.3. Is that possible?

UC GPA only includes 10th-12th grades in the a-g classes, so you're probably correct. Its possible to have 4.0+ GPA because of honors and AP classessssssssss>

It's 10-11 a-g. You can get over a 4.0, but it's capped at 4.4

Well since we are on semester, it won't include my 12th grade yet. So I will just assume it will be fine and list that.

4.3 is entirely possible, if you essentially have straight A's. But, don't forget that the bonus points are only added to UC-approved honors courses.

Is there a place where I can find a list of UC-approaved honors courses, like say IB Theatre Arts or IB Theory of Knowledge.

if you are in-state, you can look up your HS on:

https://doorways.ucop.edu/list/

But, all IB/AP courses do count for a bonus point.
