Question about UCB suppl. prereq. form

I have all my prereqs except one that is not offered at my college. (Math 55 Discrete Mathematics). Do I just leave it blank or do I indicate that I will take the course if I go to Berkeley? i.e. PL Fall 2011 (planned for fall 2011 if I am admitted)

leave it blank…ive never heard of anyone doing the latter before…if anything, just say that you will take it at berk in the comments box

I wouldn’t put the comment. Im sure the admission officer will notice on ASSIST that the prereqs aren’t offered. And plus, you HAVE to take it at Berkeley if you get in. I would just leave the prereq spot blank. You’re not the only one in this situation. Almost everybody is. Some classes just aren’t offered in CC’s. I have 4 prereqs to do at Berkeley if I get in.

Is there a pre-req form on myberkeley? I don’t have one…

^yeah some dont. and yeah obvs if you dont have a pre-req its guna have to be done when you get to a UC. alsoo im wondering if i should just do the ac requirement at da…but itll be such a waste if i dont get in D;
random and off topic i know.

What is an ac requirement?

american cultures requirement!

and you can read some stuff about on berks site

OK question regarding the foreign language part. on the Berkley supplements:
Iam listing ASL 1 to fulfill the foreign language part on the IGETC. Should I still/ need to check the two boxes listed under “additional questions”?!

I’m not putting anything into the boxes. I just check one box and put all my grades into the comments box below. It’s really stupid because high school is split into semesters and they only give you 3 boxes. What if you took 3 YEARS (6 semesters) of language in high school? How are you supposed to put those into those 3 boxes? It’s just dumb.

^ What you could do is just write “Spanish 1-2” and then for the grades write “A, A+”, and for the date just write “Fall 2009, Spring 2010” or whatever. But I’m sure putting it in the comments is fine too.

Yeah I just checked 2 years, and then put all my semester grades into the comments box. The people reviewing these applications are human beings not computers; if the information is provided they better read it.
