<p>I just found out that I might not get credit for this one class as an honors class. This will make me not qualified for TAP. But on the application I put that I am TAP qualified.
What should I do? Will this hurt my chances of getting in??</p>

<p>of course it will hurt your chances of getting in. but the fact that you said u were going to complete TAP, when in fact ur not gonna finish it, will not hurt you. that checkbox in the app is there to just give u a chance to pick a backup major. in order to get priority consideration with TAP, you need to get TAP certified by filling out the forms with you counselor. </p>
<p>so basically, u just won’t get priority consideration for your first major. and you won’t be considered at all for your second major since u don’t have TAP</p>

I went to the honors program center and the counselor told me that the teacher denied the honors contract without any reason saying why. I don’t understand why she denied it because I completed all the work and got an A in that class. The counselor will find out by next week…</p>
