<p>If I were to attend a lower ranked school such as University of Texas - Dallas, what are
my chances of attending a prestigious medical school such as Harvard MS or Johns Hopkins MS?</p>

<p>I know MCAT's, extracurriculars, reserach, and all that counts as well, but how detrimental will my undergraduate school be?</p>

<p>Your GPA, MCATs, and letters of recommendation will matter a lot more than the name on your diploma.</p>

<p>If you are concerned about Med School admissions from UT-Dallas, pick up the phone and call the pre-med advisor there and ask where their students go.</p>
