How do I go about updating the profile and sending it to MIT? I sent my CSS/Profile a long time ago, but now I need to make some updates.

Also, if you wanted to update them about winning math competitions and stuff, how would you do it? Would you fax them the list of winners and stuff or would a simple email suffice?

Updates are only allowed to new/additional colleges in the CSS/Profile online.

I would imagine one would have to print it out and fill all the sections and send to the MIT financial aid office.

Can someone confirm this?

:)

Can someone confirm this, plz?

The Student Financial Services office at MIT can answer your questions: 617-258-8600

I think (purely personally) that as long as we have an up-to-date FAFSA (or FAFSA Correction) by (maybe?) march, MIT has enough info to make the decisions about financial packages. For CSS, it is clear that most people used their 2006 data to predict for 2007. I sent mine in in October, because of the UChicago EA deadline.

You can't make corrections online once you submit it. You're supposed to print it out, pencil in the corrections, and mail it to all the colleges that you originally submitted to.
