Hello all!

I am planning to upload my personal statement and why Tulane? essays as files, but I was not sure if I needed to upload them as PDFs or if uploading them as Microsoft Word Docs is accepted.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Never mind…obvious answer

Which was?

I uploaded mine as PDFs. Was that not okay?

If they say they have them, it must have been OK. I am sure you followed the instructions just fine.

Oh, I apologize for not being clear. I assumed that we should upload the files as PDFs regardless because every other document I’ve seen that Tulane has requested an applicant to upload should be in PDF form. Like what @fallenchemist said, if they say they have them, then it should be fine.

The advantage to uploading PDFs instead of Word files is that they are not (easily) editable - they see what you send.
