If we took a class at another college and can use it to get out of our GE requirements, do we bring our grades in that class to the college GPA?

If we are passing out of a class with an AP test, how does 3 or 4 or 5 get factored into our GPA?

It depends on the college. If it's a community college, it doesn't factor into your GPA; if it's another UC, then it does.

APs come in as pass/no pass credit, which don't affect your GPA; so 3 = 4 = 5 :)

"3 = 4 = 5 "
sweeeet

YAy that's awesome.

For number 1 though, what if it's SDSU?

i think its strictly UCs, any other college does not factor in unless you apply for grad school in which they may recalculate your grades from all college courses.

mostly 3=4=5, but not really..for example. getting a 4 or 5 in bioAP lets you pass out of bild1 and 2. if u get a 3, i think u only pass out of bild1. for chem its even weirder. i heard if u got a 4 u pass out of chem6a but if u get a 5 you pass out of whole series (a,b,c)..or something like that.

But AP credit definitely won't be part of our GPA?

is this true of muir too??

No matter where you are, APs do not count as part of your GPA.

can a fine art that we did in a community college cancel out our GE requirement for fine art?

building on i.like.surfing's question, can we use out of state community college credits? i'm thinking of taking some courses during the summer.

You can use community college credits from anywhere.

(sorry this isnt related to Revell)

for pre- BioEngineering:Premed, the website says they are using 8 courses to evaluate whether you make it into the major or not... do I still have to take all these courses even though I can use AP credit to get out of two of them?
