question about waiting list

Most of the classes I wanna add are almost closed. Is waiting list a solid enrollment of courses? Or should I just give them up and choose another courses?

depends on course, professor, and what number you are on the waitlist. its hard to say because some professors will take all the waitlist people while other professors wont even want to take 1. also classes like english comp 3 will be really hard to get into on waitlist, but a 300 person lecture or something might be pretty easy to get a PTE for.

but definitely start looking at other course options. you can also try emailing the professor or the head of enrollment for the specific department and see if they can provide help/insight.

The classes I wanna add are Atoms Sci 104 and 153L:(

biochem 153L? that's gonna be tough since they really want a specific number of people in labs, no more, no less. you only have a chance if someone happens to no-show or drop the first day.

Geez :(
How about Atoms Sci? It isn't a lab and has 58 people..

Wow... already? I'm sure glad I used my priority to sign up for it... Does anyone know how quickly chem 110a fills up? the lecture i want in is less than half full right now (9 out of 50) but second pass hasn't started so I'm a little worried because there isn't too many spots...

I'm on waiting list #8 for atmos sci 104:( Let's hope I can get in.
110a? Almost filled up.

Ahh!! In the past 20 minutes it filled up?! so distressing!

***, all 153L sections are closed in 15 mins, horrible!

Geez, 153c almost filled up.

that's really weird i went back to check 110a again, and it went back to saying that there's only 9 out of 50 enrolled after refreshing twice on both ursa and the schedule of classes... so confused

Try to clean your cache and cookies and click again. I can still see 110a is almost filled.

This is so horrible, classes are filled up too quickly. How can we guaduate in 6 quarters????
