At the bottom of my telebears it says that I don't have the minimum number of units that is permissible. I am technically only enrolled in 5 units but I have 17 units total including the waitlist. I am not able to add any more units. Is the notice that I am under the limit one that can be ignored given my situation?

Yeah, you can ignore the warning. It’s just to let you know that you’re currently below 13. As long as you get off enough waitlists (or get permission to be below 13) nothing’s going to happen to you.

Hi,

How to get permission to take less than 13 units? Thanks in advance. I’m wait-listed.

^You wouldn’t want to do that if you’re just waitlisted, getting permission is mostly for students who are only part-time because of some reason or another.

Many thanks, dina4119. What are the chances of getting in a class if one is at the bottom wait-list? My math H54 is already full, and my UGBA 101a isn’t yet.

H54 is kind of a small class, so I’m not really sure how good of a chance you have of getting in. I’d recommend thinking of a backup class just in case and then asking the professor about that first day of class.
