Question about Waitlist. Can someone help?

<p>So I have been waitlisted at Michigan but still really want to attend the university. I was also accepted to my other schools and was going to commit to them by paying the deposit before May 1st. However, if I choose to accept my waitlist spot by May 15th, does that mean I am committed to attending Michigan if I am accepted? I am asking simply out of curiosity as Michigan is almost definitely my first choice.</p>

<p>Can someone please tell me whether I will be committing myself if I accept the wait list offer or will it simply notify Michigan that I am still very interested?</p>
