I am a current freshmen in a community college, and I want to transfer to UC Davis. I want to apply for biological science major.
My question is, is it a must to complete all major prerequisite listed in Assist.org? Or should I complete IGETC?
The courses listed in Assist.org are mostly chemistry, biology and physics, while IGETC requires general courses about humanity, social science. Completing major prerequisite cannot fulfil IGETC.
Besides, what courses are required in TAG? IGETC or prerequisite?

I am so confused about what class to take next semester. Please give me some advice!! Thanks!

A minimum of 60 units by the Spring before transfer are needed and these semester units are made up of major prereqs and IGETC/GEs. The more major prereqs you take, the better prepared you’ll be in an applicant pool of transfers who have finished the prereqs and IGETC/GE. Go to your transfer center to plan out your next 3+ semesters of CC. Look into the TAG program.

On Assist.org, it looks like you need math, physics, chemistry, and biology just about every semester.
