Question about what GPA i need to get into

Im currently at Sierra College JC. My first year I finished with a 2.78 GPA and my major is Bio Sci.
I wanna transfer to UCD SJSU or SDSU i was wondering if i get like a 3.0-3.1 if they will accept that. If not what would i need? And is it to late to get into Davis with the desired gpa?

Can i drop like some classes that have nothing to do with my major from my transcript?

SDSU is VERY impacted. All majors are. I’d stick it with SJSU if I were you, just because they give SD transfers priority…

I don’t live in the SD area I live in the Davis area, but is Davis out of t he picture?

For a UC, I’m honestly not sure how they work with transfer students in the area. There’s a possibility that you MAY be able to get into UCD. Here’s what it says on their website.

I honestly think that a 3.0 - 3.1 is cutting it close. Right now if you were to apply, I honestly don’t know if you’d get in; BUT anything is possible. Positive thoughts. Good luck!
