I have a hypothetical, yet realistic, question. I've heard that if performance between two SAT tests is suddenly increased the scores of the newly taken test will be delayed or audited. Is that the case for scores that drop majorly? And, about how wide of a gap must the scores differ before College Boards takes a look at it (if they even do), and thus result in a delay?

Also, when College Board reviews the scores, what do they look for exactly? Do they examine the answers and essay?
