Okay I have a problem I am transferring to Hilbert College this Spring semester and I work full time at a hotel earning min wage which just went up in new York to 8.00 an hour. I feel terrible because I work in the purchasing department and fix computers, do lots of data entry and I am basically doing to much there. Well my sister can get me the job where she works at and I have an interview on fri after work. The pay is greater with 11.28 an hour and its part time so the flexibility is there. The training is a conflict because its two weeks of 8am to 4pm and after that I will only work 3 to 11 when I get settled. I also just registered for classes at Hilbert and they are all morning classes that are going to conflict with working at the hotel. The semester starts Tue. of next week. What should I do, should I change my classes to evenings for now? idk I need serious answers please

Do they have online classes? It doesn’t seem like either morning or evening classes will work with your work schedule.

Yes they do but I am more of an on site learner, and I did online and I really didn’t do that good. I want a part time job that will make me focus in school more and I need to make money to pay my bills which are under 400 dollars a month. Idk what to do should I find a new job or no

It’ll be pretty had to full time student and work full time. What are your hours at the hotel?

my hours at the hotel is 6 am to 2 pm 38.5 hours a week and i want to focus in school but i dont want to be left short handed.

I would say keep your current job and take night classes.

Unless you can go part time for one of them I’d say talk to your manager, maybe he/she can change ur hours to be more flexible around school
