Question About Work Experiences on Common App

I have two things I want to add onto my common app extracurricular activities/work experiences but I don't know if they are okay to be on them.

First our school requires all students to have a certain job at the school.. whether it be cleaning teacher's room, taking pictures for the communication office. My job for 3 years was to work at the school library, shelving books, cleaning library, organizing library data.
I did it for once a week for the whole school year for 3 years.. so i don't know if that can count as a work experience.. we weren't paid or anything..

second I worked at my mom/my aunt's store at least 3-4 hours once or twice every two weeks for 3 years.. and it wasn't a paid job either....

can those be counted as work experiences?

Thanks

Bump… anyone?

I would say that is a volunteering thing.

I would say that is a real work experience… kinda idk

^agree-1) is considered to be volunteer experience because you dedicated your time without getting paid.

What if you were paid under the table?

Both would be considered volunteering, because the Common App option specifically says “Work (Paid)”

@Toussaint, that is still payment. Many jobs are paying teens under the table nowadays…
