<p>So I submitted my application and supplements to various colleges. How do we check the application status? Do we wait for a college to send us an email with our login id and etc? How long does it usually take for a college to send such an email?</p>

<p>Beyond the confirmation email and the My Colleges page, everything else is all up to each college.</p>

Yep. Could get one tomorrow, could get one in a month.</p>

<p>Some colleges explain what will happen next on their websites. We have a "what to expect after you submit" section. You might try to look at the different college sites.</p>
