Question concerning Essay #2

Hey guys,

i have a quick question concerning the second essay question for georgetown.
im applying to the georgetown college and the essay prompt is the following:

Please relate your interest in studying at Georgetown University to your goals. How do
these thoughts relate to your chosen course of study?

if i am undecided regarding my major, should i write an essay on why i want to go to georgetown even though im undecided? the prompt specifically says "your chosen course of study" and im not sure if that allows anyone to be undecided when writing the essay.

please help me! thank you in advance!

Well you have a couple of choices:

1) Pick a major you think you are most interested in and write about that

OR

2) Talk about how Georgetown has four schools (COL, SFS, MSB, NHS) and it offers a variety of majors/minors. Whether IR in the COL and SFS, or finance in the MSB, a student is guaranteed a top tier education. And you can talk about how you can take classes between schools and transfer relatively easily, so even as an undecided, Georgetown is the perfect place to find your passion, while getting to experience a variety of majors and disciplines in a top-tier academic environment...

I applied as undecided between two very different courses of study, I used the essay to explain how regardless of the path I chose, I would still get an amazing education at Gtown.

thank you so much! this really helps!
