Question. Conditions of Admissions.

Hello, I am a transfer student from De Anza College. I am currently taking Spring 2016 Quarter there…
I have reviewed the Conditions of Admissions several times, and I have some questions.

Question No.1
In the l.Immediately Submit category, it is saying
“1. Your official high school transcript, GED, or Proficiency Examination documents with the date of graduation.
2. Final, official transcripts for all colleges/universities at which you are no longer enrolled.
3. Your current institution transcripts once Spring grades are available.”

“Final, official transcripts for all colleges/universities at which you are no longer enrolled.” - Should I send official transcripts with Spring grade or just send it now first (without Spring 2016 grade)? Because number 3 is saying the same thing and it confuses me. Just in case, I sent the current official transcript without Spring grade to Berkeley, and I am planning to send it again when the spring grade is available. Did I do correctly?

Question No.2
I think I cannot submit my official transcript with spring grades by July 1st which is the deadline. Because the spring quarter ends on 24th of June, and I think it will take more time to be processed. Should I contact them directly by making a phone call and notify them that I might not be able to submit it by the 1st of July? (By reading the Conditions of Admissions, I know that they give us 10 extra days if we cannot submit it by the July 1st. But I think I should notify them…?)

Thank you…

I’m not sure I understand why you think “number 3 is saying the same thing” (as number 2).

2 is about "all colleges/universities at which you are no longer enrolled." #3 is about "your current institution." A school is either #2 or #3; it can't be both.

Since you are currently enrolled at De Anza, it is #3.

De Anza probably has thousands of students transferring to UC system each year. Ask them. They should know whether the final transcript can be “postmarked or electronically submitted on or before July 1.”

So, #2 is basically saying something like 'if I have enrolled two schools like foothill college and de anza college, and finished taking all the courses from Foothill and not attending there anymore, #2 requires foothill’s official transcript but not De Anza. right?
Thanks

Yes, for all colleges which you have previous attended but are not attending now, send the official transcript now. For all colleges which you are attending now, send the official transcript when the spring grades are posted.
