Cornell sent my friend a letter telling him to visit on Diversity weekend

Is it an early sign that he may be accepted?

Most likely. The day after they sent me the same message, I received a likely letter.

did anyone who went to the diversity weekend in october get another invitation for the one in april?

oh wow
thx mz!

i went in october i didn't get another one.

okay, cuz i went in october too and wasn't invited again. just wondering.

it is definately an indication. I just phoned an university today asking them a similar question and they said yes. I then checked the decision, and I got in.

how do u check decisions?

if i'm a under represented minority (half hispanic) and i haven't recieved any info about this diversity weekend, does this mean im rejected (i applied to ILR which is apparently rolling, so i should hear pretty soon. . .)

Salome admissions come out March 30 or 31st one of those two there is no way possible you coulda checked admissions.

400metres, there are schools that notify beforehand (the state schools are rolling throughout march) and some people from the other schools (like CAS) have heard early notifications. the majority of decisions do come out on march 30 and 31st, but quite a few people have already heard back.

Diversity Weekend??? Uhh WTH is that?
