many schools will require W2s and all schedules and forms that you sent in with your tax forms.

okay thanks

so that’s all? anything else?

the schools will also tell you when to submit the 1040s and w-2s

PROFILE do first- it is usually due first anyway.
Yes- you won’t have an accurate 1040 form, but use your best approximation from a combination of last years forms and end of year check stubs.
PROFILE will also take that information and give you a cheat sheet to fill out FAFSA.
Jan 1st you can begin to fill out FAFSA.
YOu can also correct FAFSA when you get updated info.
It is more important IMO, to get it started and in, even if you have to correct it later, than to wait for all the finalized numbers.

Some schools may also send their own forms- but that is variable.

thx 10char

are we given access to the FAFSA starting at 12 midnight sharp?

so basically:
fill out the PROFILE (update with accurate #'s later),
fill out FAFSA asap (update with accurate #'s later),
send out appropriate tax forms to colleges as needed,
and fill out and send school’s own financial forms if they have any

and the cheat sheet PROFILE gives you is the PROFILE application you submitted that you have access to view afterwards?

thank you very much
