Did any of you get 1 or more 800s on the BB tests before the real deal?

I took ten practice tests. I got three 2400s over the course of the last five of those.

anyone else besides the one CC 2400-er I know? :P

Haha, but that isn’t one of the questions you’ve asked me :)

true, but I’d still like other ppl to post.

I might as well have pm’d you for the third time haha.

there arent that many perfect score people that regularly get on

Well I got a 800 on the math section of the SAT, and I never once scored a 800 on practice tests…usually 760 or something.

I didn’t get a 2400 but a 2340; nevertheless, I aced Math and Writing, and I can say that sheer practise on the BB tests helped me the most. Due to this, I was making only a couple of mistakes, at the most, on each section of the practise tests before the exam. I also focused on the areas which I was losing the most marks on (mainly the essay).

Hope this helps :).

I got an 800 on CR and W (2340 overall); I rarely got perfect scores on those sections in the BB practice tests. When I retook the test in June, I already had an 800 CR, so I focused my prep on writing and math. The 800 W was kind of surprise because I always seemed to make 1-3 silly mistakes on the MC portions of the writing sections in the Blue Book.

all helpful answers, thanks.

I scored a 2370 on the January 2009 SAT. Before the real deal, I had been consistently getting 800s on both the math and writing sections, but it was critical reading that screwed me over. In practice tests for critical reading, I had hit one or two 800s near the end, but my scores were mostly in the high 700s. When I got my score report, I found out that I was one question away from a 2400 and the MacBook my parents would have given me if I had gotten a 2400 :[

I got a 2400 on the second-to-last practice test I took, and I think that was the only time I got a perfect score on the writing mc. Weirdly, the last practice test I took, a day or two before the sat, I got like a 21something.

i’m a 2370-er so not quite a perfect scorer but the day before my december test i took two blue book tests. got a 2380 (780/800/800) in the morning and a 2400 in the afternoon.

What do you guys suggest doing the morning of the test?

The ppl with 2400s are making me jealous :)

Same. I’d do anything for a 2400. and i am doing what i can
