Question for a worried student

edit: Title should be "From a worried student" :-(

I was admitted to Ithaca College's Park School for TVR off of the wait list on May 5th.

Fast forward to today. I just got my report card and I knew I wasn't do so well in my Honor Statistics class during the fourth quarter. The first three quarters were 90, 80,90, and now the fourth quarter is 65. We only had one test and I bombed it which killed my grade.

My overall grade in the class is passing at an 81%.

My question is it is almost July and I am seriously worried about my acceptance being rescinded this late in the game. I've paid my housing deposit and scheduled to go up for orientation. Is there a chance I could be rescinded even though I am passing for the year?

For what it is worth all of my other grades are nearly the same with a 3.71 as my career gpa for all four years. Should I be worried?

I'll give the guidance office a call and ask about getting a hold of my transcript. My district only puts the final grade average for all four quarters on the transcript.

colleges don't look at every test you took in a class, as long the average is good your good. 81% is very good so try not to worry

I highly doubt that a B would get your admission rescinded. Rescinding is only for people who comitted serious offenses or have had significant grade drops. You fall into neither categorey.

I figured that was the case. The high school I attended has a quarter system with grades being posted at the end of each. Like I said my overall grade was an 81% but the fourth quarter grade was failing.

I appreciate your responses. It certainly calmed a few nerves down.
