Question for anyone who has ever skated (inline) to class...

Well I just realized I'm going to need either a bike or some skates to get from one class to another, because they're kind of far apart. A bike is my first choice, but it'd be much less costly to buy skates. The only problem I can see with skates, though, is storing them once I get to class.
I mean, they're kind of too large to fit in a backpack, so my question is

Where do you keep your skates? (if you've ever skated to class)

How are skates cheaper? A good pair of skates usually costs about the same as an average college student bike.

Not at Walmart

Please don’t skate to class :P

(mostly j/k, do as you wish of course)

Don’t wear shoes. Skate right into your class and sit down. Just skate away at the end of class. Efficient process.

Bonus: If you must make a trip across the room for something, you will be able to do it in half the time.

Buried, why not? Is it some kind of faux pas or what?

I would get the bike. Skating is not going to be practical.

Get heelys!

Having trouble taking this seriously.

Then maybe you simply should have ignored the topic altogether.

maybe you need a scooter?

Maybe instead of carrying a book bag you could carry one of those skate bags and just stuff a folder in there, too. But I really suggest going for the bike. And if it’s a large class, you may be able to get away with ducking out a few minutes early to give yourself time, I’ve had to do that before.

…Bike it is.

I thought it was a joke, I like to joke.

Get roller skates instead and wear really girly clothing (tight short shorts and a tank top that shows your belly button) and talk like a flamboyant homosexual.

I don’t see why all these people are so against skating. I know a guy that didn’t want to pay $6 parking every day, so he drove to somewhere near campus, parked his car, and then skated to class. Quick, easy, and I wouldn’t think it looks that weird.

As for how he stored his skates though, I don’t know, sorry.

I already do all of those, except I talk more like a girl, since I am one.

Please don’t rollerblade to class. Everytime I see a rollarblader I want to throw a tree branch in their path.
